The accuracy rating of a pressure transmitter can usually be found on its nameplate, which is generally expressed as something like "0.1%", "0.2%", and so on. This accuracy class is a sign of how accurate the pressure transmitter is in terms of measurement accuracy. The higher the accuracy class, the smaller the measurement error range, and the higher the accuracy of the measurement results.

Specifically, the accuracy class refers to the ratio of the maximum allowable error of the pressure transmitter over the measurement range to the measurement range, usually expressed as a percentage or thousandths. For example, a pressure transmitter with an accuracy class of 0.5% measures a pressure pressure of 100 MPa with a maximum allowable error of ± 0.5 MPa.

In addition, depending on the measurement accuracy, the accuracy classes of pressure transmitters are generally divided into 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2. Pressure transmitters with different accuracy levels are suitable for different measurement occasions, such as 0.1 and 0.2 pressure transmitters are suitable for occasions with extremely high requirements for measurement accuracy, such as high-end pressure measurement of industrial automation control systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems and other precision measurement occasions; The 1.5 and 2 pressure transmitters are suitable for occasions with low requirements for measurement accuracy, such as mechanical engineering, construction engineering and other occasions with low requirements for pressure measurement.
